Hi I'm Tracy Woodring and am currently a freshman here at Penn State. Im from a very small town about two hours northwest of here called Smethport.
Coming from such a small area I was always motivated to leave and wanted to experience living at a large school, and PSU was the only one I felt right at. In high school I was active in our clubs and sports. I still enjoy being active and hope to continue here on campus. I was involved in student council, national honor society, spanish club, varsity S, and Show Choir. The sports i participated in included cross country, soccer, football cheerleading, competition cheerleading, and track.
Growing up in Pennsylvania you always tend to hear a lot about this campus, so from the start I was ready to be apart of such a great university. Within only the first week, I surprisingly already felt right at home. I am currently majoring in biology, and want to pursue a carrier in Optometry. I live in Porter Hall with my roommate Kelsey, and we both always welcome anyone who wants to stop by.
